What distinguishes woodworking knives from ITA TOOLS?

Planer knives, which are mounted in planer heads, are used for surface treatment of softwood, hardwood, and wood-based materials. Due to the use of different types of materials, we can find knives with an adapted hardness, which has a direct bearing on their service life.

This system is most used in the production of various types of mouldings. There are also straight system knives such as Centrolock, Centrostar, Tersa, Buldozer and Terminus. These knives also come in HSS and HM options. An important group are HM inserts, two- and four-edged, which come in several hardnesses, adapted to the material to be machined.
